Video presentation of the procedure of cold extraction of hemp oil. We recommend you view the video in HD.
We obtain hemp oil of the highest quality from common hemp seeds through the cold extraction process. The extraction process takes place at a temperature of up to 37°C. Cold-extracted common hemp oil has a characteristic nutty flavour and is golden brown to golden green. The cold extraction process prevents the oil from overheating, which preserves the physiologically important hemp oil ingredients. For one litre of oil, we use five kilograms of hemp seeds on average. We maintain the quality of hemp oil by pouring it into dark bottles we keep in refrigerators.
